dc.description.abstractPeople with disabilitieslive a life that is harder than other parts of society because of a number ofphysical, psychological or social factors. Women with disabilities have boththe difficulties of being “disabled” and “women”. The difficulties of being adisabled person and the expectations of the society cause the woman to beunhappy due to her disability and have difficulty accepting this situation.Therefore, psychological support to these individuals who have problems is veryimportant in terms of mental health of the society. Psychological assistanceservices can be individual or group oriented. The aim of the study is toexamine the quality of life of physically disabled women participating in groupcounseling and their opinions about group counseling process. As a researchdesign, one-group post-test model was used. Quantitative and qualitative datacollection tools were used in the study. The data were analyzed by descriptiveanalysis. In the evaluation of the results, frequency (f) and percentage (%)values are used and also direct quotations are given. The findings werediscussed in the light of the related literature.en_US
dc.description.abstractEngelliler, fiziksel, ruhsal ya da sosyal bir takımetkenler nedeni ile toplumun diğer kesimlerinden daha güç bir yaşamsürdürmektedir. Engelli kadınlar ise, hem “engelli” hem de “kadın” olmanıngüçlüklerini bir arada yaşamaktadırlar. Engelli birey olmanın getirdiğizorluklar ve toplumun beklentileri kadının, engelinden dolayı mutsuz olmasınave bu durumunu kabullenmekte zorluk çekmesine neden olmaktadır.  Bu nedenle, problem yaşayan bu bireylerepsikolojik destek olmak toplumun ruh sağlığı açısından oldukça önemlidir.Psikolojik yardım hizmetleri bireysel olabileceği gibi gruba yönelik deolabilmektedir. Araştırmanın amacı, bedensel engelli bireylere yönelik birgrupla psikolojik danışma uygulamasına katılan kadınların yaşam kalitelerini vegrupla psikolojik danışma süreci ile ilgili görüşlerini incelemektir.Araştırmada, tek gruplu son test modeli kullanılmıştır. Araştırmabulguları,  nicel ve nitel veri toplamaaraçları birlikte kullanılarak elde edilmiştir. Veriler, betimsel analiz ileçözümlenmiştir. Sonuçların değerlendirilmesinde, frekans (f) ve yüzdelik (%)değerler kullanılmış ayrıca doğrudan alıntılara yer verilmiştir. Bulgular,ilgili alanyazın ışığında tartışılmıştır.en_US
