Özet
Bu çalışmada -epigrafikbelgelerden yararlanarak- Ege Trakyası’ndaki Zeus kültleri ve bölgeler arası etkileşimiincelenmiştir. İncelenen yazıtların buluntu yerleri bölgenin önemli kıyı yerleşimlerindenAbdera, Stryme, Maroneia, Ainos ve kara yerleşimlerinden Agiasma vePesoule-Maksimianoupolis’dir. Zeus bölgede, MÖ. 5. yüzyılın 2. yarısı ile MS. 4. yüzyılarasında, tek başına veya Athena, Dionysos,Kral Philippos, Maron ve Tanrıça Roma ile birleştirilerek tapım görmüştür. Orios, Eleutherios, Zbelthiourdos, Pesoulenos ve Hypsistos –kronolojik olarak- bölgede kullanılan Zeusepithetleridir.
In this study, thecults of Zeus and its interaction between the regions was investigated in theAegean Thrace by using the epigraphic evidences. Theseinscriptions were found in Abdera, Stryme, Maroneia and Ainos which wereimportant coastal settlements and in Agiasma and Pesoule-Maksimianoupolis whichwere land settlements of theregion.Zeus was worshiped alone or combined with another deity-Athena, Dionysos, King Philippos, Maron and goddess Rome- betweenthe 2nd half of the 5th century BC. and the 4th century AD. Orios, Eleutherios, Zbelthiourdos, Pesoulenosand Hypsistos are epithets ofZeus used in the region.
