| dc.description.abstract | Milliyetçilik akımı doğuşundan itibaren, dünyada ve Türk toprakları üzerinde birçok alanı etkisi altına almıştır. Osmanlı Devleti döneminde, milliyetçiliğin içselleştirilmesi hemen olmamıştır. Cumhuriyet döneminde ise, aksine devlet milliyetçi bir temel üzerine inşa edilmiştir. Tezde, milliyetçilik ve Türkiye’deki yansımaları detaylı bir şekilde incelenmiştir. Tezin merkezine milliyetçilikle beraber milliyetçi sağ alınmıştır. Milliyetçi Hareket Partisi (MHP), milliyetçi sağın güçlü bir partisi olması dolayısıyla çalışma konusu olarak tercih edilmiştir. Milliyetçilik alanında yapılan çalışmalardan yararlanılarak ortaya çıkan tez, yazarın alana karşı duyduğu merakın ürünüdür. Milliyetçilik, siyasetin sağ yelpazesi ve MHP hakkındaki bilgi yetersizliği yazarı bu konu üzerinde araştırma yapmaya itmiştir. Çalışma boyunca milliyetçiliğin doğuşu, yayılması ve bugünlere gelene kadar geçirdiği süre içinde etkisini yitirmediği görülmüştür. Türkiye’de milliyetçiliğin çeşitli evrelerden geçtiği, değişime uğradığı olmuştur. Bu değişimde konjonktürün payı büyüktür. MHP milliyetçiliğinde başta Türkçülük hâkimdir. İlerleyen zamanda Türkçülükle beraber İslamcılık da parti söylemlerinde sıklıkla yer almaya başlamıştır. Günümüzde ikisi de partinin temel politikaları olarak kabul edilmektedir. | en_US |
| dc.description.abstract | Since its birth, nationalism has influenced many areas in the world and on Turkish lands. The internalization of nationalism in the period of the Ottoman Empire didn’t take place immediately. Unlike that, in the Republican period the state was built on a nationalist basis. In this thesis, nationalism and its impact on Turkey was examined in detail. The focus of this thesis was on nationalism and ‘right-wing’ nationalist sight. Milliyetçi Hareket Partisi (MHP), Nationalist Movement Party, was chosen as the subject of this study because it was a strong right-wing party. This thesis, which emerged from the studies carried out in the field of nationalism, is the result of curiosity of the author. The lack of sufficient information about the nationalism, right-wing politics and the MHP led the researcher to investigate this issue. Throughout the study, it was observed that nationalism did not lose its influence during its birth, its spread and its time until its present. Nationalism in Turkey has passed through various stages and has been undergoing changes through the years. The conjuncture has a large share in these changes. Turkish nationalism is dominant in MHP’s national sight. In later times Islamism has also began to take part in party discourses along with Turkism. Both, Islamism and Turkism are now regarded as the basic policies of the party. | en_US |
