Özet
Dünyada farklı ülkelerde yaşayan insanları, ülkelerin formal sınırları fiziksel olarak ayırıyor olsa da radyo, TV, telefon gibi teknolojiler sayesindeki iletişim bağları, insanları son yüzyıl içerisinde sosyal açıdan birbirlerine yaklaştırmaktadır. Bu iletişim araçlarından olan normal telefon, geçmiş yıllara kadar populeritesini korumuştur. Son 30 yıl içerisinde, internet teknolojisindeki çarpıcı hızdaki gelişmeler ve akıllı telefonların internet teknolojisiyle oluşturmaya başladığı bütünlük, dünyanın çok uzak yerlerinde bulunan farklı toplumlardaki insanları, sanal olarak da olsa bir araya getirme olanağı sunmaktadır. İnsanlar arasındaki iletişimi, üstün kalitede sağlamak için hızla geliştirilen web siteleri, sadece sosyal açıdan iletişimi değil, ekonomik gereksinimlerle ticari ve diğer birçok alanda hareketlenmeye önemli ivme kazandırmıştır. Teknolojide günümüzde en büyük ilerlemelerden biri olan internet teknolojisinin insanoğluna sunulması, iletişimi kolaylaştıran bir araç olmakla beraber, farklı kültürlerin arasındaki iletişimi sağlamada bir veya daha fazla yabancı dilin edinilmesi zorunlu bir donanım olarak kendini göstermiştir. Bu nedenle internet kullanımının yaygınlaşmasıyla beraber yabancı dil öğretimi veren internet web sitelerinin sayısı da hızla artmıştır. İlk zamanlarda birçok alanda hakimiyetini koruyan İngilizce, internet teknolojisi ve diğer dillerdeki web sitelerinin yaygınlaşması, İngilizce dışındaki dillerin de daha fazla kullanılabilmesine olanak vermiştir. Böylece, yabancı dil olarak Almanca’nın kullanımı da hızla önem kazanmıştır. Günümüzde Almanca yabancı dil web sitelerinin sayısı da her geçen gün artmaktadır. Ancak bu web sitelerinin Almanca’yı yabancı dil olarak çeşitli düzeylerde öğrenmek isteyen öğrencilere ve öğretmenlere sunduğu imkanlar, web sitelerinin kullanım kolaylığı, bu sitelerin kullanıcıya kazandıracağı yetiler ve sunulan diğer birçok imkanların ciddiyeti, nitelik ve kalitesi yabancı dil öğrenmede kritik önem taşımaktadır. Almanca’yı yabancı dil olarak konu alan web sitelerinin, Almanca dil öğrenmedeki etkisini araştıran bilimsel araştırmalar bulunmakla beraber bunlar oldukça sınırlıdır. Bu yüksek lisans çalışmasında, Almanca yabancı dili konusunda, Almanca yabancı dil internet web siteleri, belirli kriterler dikkate alınarak araştırılmıştır. Çalışmada seçkin 23 adet Almanca yabancı dil internet web sitesi seçilmiştir. Bu web sitelerinin ülke kökenlerinden, fiziksel görünüm özelliklerine kadar değişen bazı karakteristik özellikleri 7 ana başlık ve bunların her birinin çeşitli sayıdaki alt kategorilerinin karakteristik özellikleri, modifiye edilmiş “5 Point Likert Scale” esas alınarak değerlendirilmiştir. Bu değerlendirmeler sayısal verilere dönüştürülerek tablolar oluşturulmuştur. Web siteleriyle ilgili tablolardan elde edilen sayısal değerler istatistiksel olarak analiz edilerek grafiklerde özetlenmiştir. Nonparametrik istatistik testlerle ortaya çıkan sonuçlara dayalı olarak web sitelerinin Almanca dil öğretim kaliteleri hakkında yorumlarda bulunulmuş ve bu web sitelerinin yabancı dil olarak Almanca öğretimindeki etkileri tartışılmıştır. Tüm bunlara ilave olarak, birçok ciddi Almanca yabancı dil web sitesini bir araya toplamak ve gelecekte Almanca öğrenenlerin çabalarına katkı yapabilmek için “dasbesteodernichts.com.tr” adında özel bir Almanca yabancı dil web sitesi oluşturulmuştur.
Even if diverse human populations in the World are separated by formal country borders, modern technologies, such as radio, TV, and telephone bring them closer in terms of communication in the last decades. The telephone had been kept its popularity in the past years. The striking rapid inventions in internet technology with smart phones in the last 30 years provide a good communication opportunity among the peoples all around the World. The web sites other than the social interaction, also had a significant acceleration impact on trade, economy and many other areas, As internet has been one of the remarkable technological gains for human in social communication among different people in the World, learning of a foreign language has emerged as a critical tool for using the internet. As a result of wide spread internet use, the number of foreign language web sites are increased rapidly. Although, previously English was the most popular foreign language, internet has promoted a good chance to the other languages to appear in the web sites. As a result, the wide spread use of German has emerged and the number of German web sites have increased day by day. However, the quality of facilities of German language web sites has great importance for teachers and learners who are in diverse grades. The properties and interface quality in these sites such as friendly and easy use, serious materials, and certain other tools have critical impact on the users for gaining a proficiency in a target foreign language. Although there are pioneering scientific studies for searching the impact of German language learning web sites, number of these are very limited. In the present study, the impact of the German language web sites was investigated by using certain criteria of the web sites. Accordingly, a total of 23 respected German language web sites were examined for the study. The main seven properties and several subproperties ranging from owner and country origin through physical, contextual and pedagogical characteristics of these sites in terms of their quality were evaluated using the modified “5 Point Likert Scale”. The data are presented in tables and charts by using these evaluations. These data were analysed statistically by using non-parametric tests. According to statistical results, the impact of the German language web sites for learning of German as a foreign language were discussed. In addition, a new German language web site combining a number of respected German language sites, called as “dasbesteodernichts.com.tr” was constructed to contribute to German language web site users.
