Özet
Bu araştırmanın amacı İlköğretim Okullarındaki Vatandaşlık Ve İnsan Hakları Eğitimi Programının Uygulanışına İlişkin Sosyal Bilgiler Öğretmenlerinin Görüşlerini saptayarak programla ilgili öneriler geliştirmektir. Araştırmada, 'İlköğretim okullarında Vatandaşlık ve İnsan Hakları Programının uygulanışına ilişkin sosyal bilgiler öğretmenlerinin görüşleri nedir?' temel sorusuna yanıt aranmaya çalışılmıştır. Bu kapsamda tarama modeli ile gerçekleştirilen çalışmanın katılımcıları amaçlı örneklem yöntemi ile Edirne İli Merkez İlçedeki İlköğretim okullarında görev yapan sosyal bilgiler öğretmenlerinden belirlenmiş, araştırma sorusuna yanıt aramak üzere yarı yapılandırılmış görüşmeler ile veriler toplanmıştır. Elde edilen veriler nitel araştırma yöntemlerinde yaygın olarak kullanılmakta olan betimsel analiz tekniği ile çözümlenmiştir. Çözümlemede araştırmanın alt problemleri çerçevesinde temalar oluşturulmuş ve bu temalar yardımı ile öğretmenlerin konu ile görüş ve önerileri elde edilmiştir. Araştırmada, sosyal bilgiler öğretmenlerinin Vatandaşlık ve İnsan Hakları Eğitim Programında hedefler, içerik, öğrenme-öğretme süreci ve değerlendirme konularında bir takım sorunlar yaşadığı ve bu sorunların çözümüne yönelik olarak çeşitli önerileri olduğu görülmüştür. The aim of this study is to bring forward some proposals in the Program of Citizenship and Human Rights Education at Primary School Level from the stand point of Social Science Teachers. In the study it is intended to find out the answer of the essential question 'What are stand points of teachers of social sciences in the aspect of implementing the Program of Citizenship and Human Rights Education at Primary School Level?'. Thus, survey model was applied, and the ones that attended were intentionally selected teachers of social sciences from the primary schools that are from primary schools that are centrally oriented in Edirne. In order to find out answers to the question mentioned above semi-structured interviews were held and as a result data was collected. The collected data were analysed by using descriptive analysis which is widely used in qualitative research method. At the analysis phase, themes closely related to sub-problems of the research were formed and by the help of them views reflecting the attitudes of teachers were obtained. As a result of the study, teachers of social sciences proposed that they have some problems in terms of the objectives, content, teaching-learning process and evaluation in the Program of Citizenship and Human Rights Education. It was also detected that they have some suggestions concerning the solution of the problem. Key Words: Citizenship, Human Rights
