| dc.description.abstract | Bu çalışmanın amacı, firmaların sahip olduğu maddi olmayan varlıklarından ortaya çıkan entelektüel sermayesini ölçmek ve firmalar için entelektüel sermayenin ne derece önemli olduğunu belirlemektir. Çalışmada, Borsa İstanbul (BİST) imalat sektöründe işlem gören 111 adet firmanın 2009-2018 dönem aralığındaki yıllık mali verileri temel alınmaktadır. Bu firmaların entelektüel sermayesini ölçebilmek için Tobin Q, Piyasa Değeri/Defter Değeri (PD/DD) ve Entelektüel Katma Değer Katsayısı (Value Added Intellectual Coefficient -VIAC) yöntemleri kullanılmaktadır. Ayrıca hem kullanılan entelektüel sermaye hesaplama yöntemleri hem de firmalar arasında karşılaştırma yapılmaktadır. Çalışmanın sonucunda, Kimya İlaç Petrol Lastik ve Plastik Ürünleri alt sektöründe işlem gören firmaların VIAC yöntemine göre 2017 yılında en yüksek entelektüel sermaye ile faaliyet gösterdiği tespit edilmiştir. Metal Eşya Makine Elektrikli Cihazlar ve Ulaşım Araçları alt sektöründe faaliyet gösteren firmalarda PD/DD yöntemine göre 2010 yılında en yüksek entelektüel sermayeye sahip olduğu belirlenirken, Gıda, İçecek ve Tütün Sektörleri alt sektöründe faaliyet gösteren firmaların ise Tobin Q yöntemine göre 2010 yılında en yüksek entelektüel sermayeye sahip olduğu belirlenmiştir. Aynı zamanda 2009-2018 dönem aralığında firmaların PD/DD ve Tobin Q yöntemlerine göre entelektüel sermayelerinin paralel sonuçlar verdiği saptanırken VIAC yöntemine göre farklı sonuçlar verdiği saptanmıştır. | en_US |
| dc.description.abstract | The purpose of this study is to measure the intellectual capital that emerges from the intangible assets of companies and to determine the importance of intellectual capital for companies. The study is based on the annual financial data of 111 companies of Manufacturing Sector traded in Borsa Istanbul (BIST) for the period between 2009-2018. In order to measure the intellectual capital of these companies, Tobin Q, Market Value / Book Value (MV/BV) and Value Added Intellectual Coefficient (VIAC) methods are used. Furthermore, not only intellectual capital methods but also firms are compared. As a result of the study, it was determined that companies in the sub-sector of Chemical Pharmaceuticals, Petroleum, Rubber and Plastic Products operated with the highest intellectual capital in 2017 according to the VIAC method. It was determined that companies operating in the sub-sector of Metal Goods Machinery Electrical Equipment and Transportation Vehicles had the highest intellectual capital in 2010 according to the MV/BV method while companies operating in the sub-sector of Food, Beverage and Tobacco Sectors had the highest intellectual capital in 2010 according to the Tobin Q method. Meanwhile, it has been demonstrated that between the 2009-2018 period, firms' intellectual capitals yielded similar results according to the methods of PD / DD and Tobin Q while different results were obtained according to the VIAC method. | en_US |
