| dc.description.abstract | Yaslılık, önüne geçilmesi mümkün olmayan biyolojik, kronolojik ve sosyal yönleri ile karmasık bir süreçtir. Kardiyovasküler klinikte 65 yas ve üstü hastalarda kullanılan kardiyovasküler ilaçların yan etki olusturma oranı ve geriyatrik toplumun saglık personeli ile ilgili düsünce ve beklentilerinin arastırıldıgı bu çalısma sonucunda; Hastaların büyük çogunlugunun kendi hastalık ve kullandıgı ilaçlar hakkında bilgi sahibi olmadıgı ve sadece isimlerini bildikleri gösterilmistir, Yaslıların yarıdan fazlasına kullanılan ilaçlar hakkında bilgi verilmedigi, olguların büyük çogunlugunun ilaçların kullanım amacını, yan etkilerini ve diger ilaçlarla etkilesimini bilmedigi, hastaların ilaçlarla ilgili konularda bilgilendirildikleri zaman söylenen bilgileri anlayabildikleri ve ilaç kullanmadaki uyunçlarının arttıgı gözlenmistir, Saglık personelinin büyük oranda polifarmasi ve ilaç uygulama protokollerine dikkat ettigi, hemsirelerin hastaların çogunlugunu ilaç yan etkileri konusunda takip ettigi gösterilmistir, Yaslıların %9,5'inde ilaç yan etkisi görüldügü ve yapılan literatür arastırmalarında ilaç yan etkilerinin polifarmasi ve saglık profesyonellerine baglı hatalardan kaynaklandıgı gösterilmistir, Olguların yarıdan fazlasına kullanılan ilaçların yan etkileri ile ilgili kontrollerin taburcu olduktan sonrada yaptırılması gerektigi anlatılmamıstır. Hastaların %63'ünün hekim ve hemsirelerin güler yüzlü olmalarını istedikleri saptanmıstır. Yaslılarda ilaç kullanımı ile ilgili az sayıda çalısma bulunmaktadır. Sebebi ne olursa olsun ilaç kullanım hataları hem yaslıya uygulanan tedaviden istenilen sonuçların alınmasını engellemekte, hem de saglık kurumlarının gereksiz sekilde kullanılmasına yol açmakta, bu durum zaten zorlu olan saglık bakım sistemimize daha da yük getirmektedir. Tüm bu faktörler birlikte degerlendirildiginde, yaslılarda polifarmasi ve hatalı ilaç kullanımının saglık bakım sistemimize ne kadar agır bir yük getirdigi açıktır. | en_US |
| dc.description.abstract | Polifarmasi Old age, is an inevitable complicated process with its biological, chronological and social aspects. As a result of this study in which, the rate of formation of side-effects by cardiovascular drugs used for the patients of the age 65 or over in cardiovascular clinic and the opinions and expectations of the geriatric society related to the health personnel were examined; It is demonstrated that the majority of the patients do not have any information on their own illness and the drugs used and they only know the names of the drugs, It is observed that, usually, information was not supplied to more than half of the patients concerning the drugs used, that most of the cases do not know the purpose of the drugs used, their side effects and interaction with the other drugs, that the patients, when information is supplied about the drugs, are able to understand what they are informed of, and that their compliance with the drug utilization is increased, It is shown that the health personnel are careful about polypharmacy and drug application protocols, that the nurses are following-up majority of the patients regarding the side effects of the drugs, It is shown that side effects of the drugs were observed in 9,5% of the patients and based on the literature research conducted on the side effects of the drugs, this was due to the errors based on polyphramacy and health professionals. More than half of the cases were not told that the controls related to the side effects of the drugs used should be realized after they are discharged. It is determined that 63% of the patients want the doctors and nurses to have a smiling face. There are few studies on drug utilization in old age. Whatever the reason may be, drug utilization errors both prevent the provision of the desired results from the treatment applied to the patient, and cause unnecessary utilization of the health institutes; which brings more load on our healthcare system that is already difficult. When all these factors are evaluated altogether, it is clear that polypharmacy and erroneous drug utilization in old people bring a very heavy burden to our health care system. | en_US |
