Within the scope of the thesis, 31 red figured pottery found during the excavations in the Western City of Limyra between 2002-2005 were studied. At the beginning of the study, information about the general history of red figured pottery and the history of the research is given. In the second section, information about the history of Limyra and the excavation area where the potteries were found is given. The potteries, whose documentation, identification and classification processes were completed, were analysed under two headings as closed and open forms. A catalogue containing basic information about each pottery was prepared, a style critique of the potteries was made, a literature search was made for similar examples and a date suggestion was given for each pottery. The ceramics were dated between 450-350 BC, with a higher density in the second half of the 4th century BC. The aim of the study is to contribute to the scientific studies in Lycia and Western Anatolia.en_US
