dc.description.abstractOsmanlı Devleti İstanbul’un fethiyle birlikte stratejik anlamda önemli bir konuma sahip olmuş ve böylece Doğu Avrupa ve Karadeniz ticareti üzerinde kontrol sağlamıştır. Ayrıca İtalyan devletlerine ticari imtiyazlar vererek Doğu Akdeniz ticaretinin devamlılığına katkıda bulunmuştur. Osmanlılar, Akdeniz’i sadece ticari ön plana çıkarmamış; aynı zamanda siyasi, sosyal ve kültürel yönlerinin de gelişimine önem vermiştir. Liman kentleri hızlı nüfus artışıyla birlikte ticaret kültürü açısından da hızlı gelişen kentlerdir. Bu bağlamda, bu kentlerin kentsel gelişimi de önem taşımaktadır. Bu çalışmada, Karadağ kıyılarında 15. yy’da başlayan ve 18. yy’ın ikinci yarısına kadar geçen Osmanlı dönemine ait kentsel yerleşmenin tarihsel süreci araştırılmıştır. İncelenen belgelerde kentsel yerleşim yeri olarak Stari Bar ve Ülgün, küçük yerleşim yeri olarak ise Hersek Nova araştırılmıştır. Çalışmanın girişinde araştırmanın amacı, kapsamı ve yöntemi detaylı olarak açıklanmaktadır. Diğer bölümlerde ise, araştırılan kentlerin tarihsel süreciyle Osmanlı dönemindeki kentsel gelişimleri incelenmiştir. Bu incelemenin temel amacı, Osmanlı Dönemi’nde uzun yıllar yaşamış ve katmanlaşmış olan bu kentlerin günümüze ulaşmamış izlerinin ortaya çıkarılmasıdır. Bu bağlamda, bu kentsel yerleşim alanlarından miras kalan yapısal ve tarihsel izlerin korunma ölçütlerindeki farklılıkların; kentlerin bulundukları konumlarından ve tarihsel geçmişlerinden kaynaklandığı düşünülmektedir.en_US
dc.description.abstractWith the conquest of Istanbul, the Ottoman Empire had a strategically important position and thus gained control over Eastern Europe and the Black Sea trade. It also contributed to the continuity of the Eastern Mediterranean trade by giving commercial concessions to the Italian states. The Ottomans did not only bring the Mediterranean to the forefront of trade; At the same time, it gave importance to the development of its political, social and cultural aspects. Port cities are cities that develop rapidly in terms of trade culture along with rapid population growth. In this context, the urban development of these cities is also important. In this study, the historical process of the urban settlement of the Ottoman period, which started in the 15th century and lasted until the second half of the 18th century, on the coast of Montenegro was investigated. In the documents examined, Stari Bar and Ülgün as urban settlements and Hersek Nova as small settlements were investigated. The aim, scope and method of the research are explained in detail in the introduction to the study. In the other sections, the historical process of the cities studied and their urban development in the Ottoman period were examined. The main purpose of this study is to reveal the traces of these cities, which have lived and stratified for many years in the Ottoman Period, that have not reached the present day. In this context, the differences in the preservation criteria of the structural and historical traces inherited from these urban settlements; It is thought that the cities originate from their locations and historical backgrounds.en_US
