Aynı zamanda her oturum öncesinde öğrencilere
dikkat değerlendirme listesi uygulanmıştır. Ayrıca bu araştırmada katılımcıların
annelerinden ve öğretmenlerinden sosyal geçerlilik verileride toplanmıştır. Araştırma
sonucunda elde edilen bulgular grafik analizi tekniği ile yorumlanmıştır.
Araştırmanın sonucunda, gerek araştırmadan gerekse öğretmen ve annelerle yapılan
görüşmeden elde edilen veriler doğrultusunda, uyarlanmış fiziksel aktivitenin
çocukların odaklanmış dikkat becerileri üzerinde olumlu etkisi olduğu
gözlemlenmiştir. In this study, it is aimed to examine the effectiveness of adapted physical activity on
focused attention in children with autism spectrum disorder. In this study, multiple
baseline design, which is one of the single-subject research models, has been used.
The study group of the research consisted of four students with autism spectrum
disorder, aged 5-6 years, and attending Trakya University Armağan Dönertaş
Education and Rehabilitation Center. While determining the study group; the
condition of possessing the prerequisite skills, which is among the criteria of the
research, has been taken into consideration. In this study, data collection forms of
baseline, probe, teaching, follow-up and generalization sessions and Bourdon
attention test have been used as data collection tools. At the same time, an attention
evaluation list has been administered to the students before each session. In addition,
social validity data have been collected from the mothers and teachers of the
participants in this study. The findings obtained as at the end of the research have
been interpreted with the graphic analysis technique. At the end of the study, in
accordance with the data obtained both from the study and from the interviews with
the teachers and mothers, it was observed that adapted physical activity had a
positive effect on children's focused attention skills.
