Özet
İnşaat sektörü, yaklaşık 150’ye yakın sektörle ilişkili olması, yan sanayileri desteklemesi, yüksek katma değer yaratması, istihdam potansiyelinin büyük olması, başta imalat sanayisi olmak üzere diğer sektörler ile sıkı bir girdi-çıktı ilişkisi içinde olması, yurtdışında yürütülen faaliyetlerin döviz kazandırması, çok sayıda düz işçiye istihdam sağlaması gibi özelliklere sahiptir. Sayılan bütün bu özellikleri nedeniyle inşaat sektöründeki girişimlerin etkileri ekonomiye dinamizm getirmektedir. Türkiye’de inşaat sektöründe girişimcilik eğilimlerini belirleyen faktörlerin açığa çıkarılması amacıyla hazırlanan bu çalışmada güçlü yönler, zayıf yönler, fırsatlar ve tehditlerin ayrı ayrı ele alındığı GZTF (SWOT) analizi tekniği kullanılmıştır. Elde edilen verilerin, sektörün girişimcilik açısından güçlü yanlarının korunarak, zayıf yanlarının geliştirilmesi, karşılaşılabilecek tehdit ve fırsatlara uygun stratejiler geliştirilmesini sağlamak üzere yol gösterici olabileceği düşünülmektedir.
Construction sector has some specialties such as; being associated with approximately 150 different sectors, creating high added value, generating a high employment potential, having a compact input-output relevancy with other sectors including mainly production sector, creating exchange earnings via foreign operations and providing employment for an important number of unskilled labor. Due to these qualifications explained above, the effects of the enterprises in construction sector bring dynamism to the economy. The SWOT analyzing technique which discusses strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats separately is used in this study in order to reveal the factors determining the entrepreneur orientation in Turkish construction sector. It is assumed that the data obtained will be guiding for protecting the entrepreneurial strengths of the sector while improving the weaknesses and developing proper strategies for the threats and opportunities that might be encountered.
