Hemşirelerde Merhamet Düzeyinin Etik Duyarlılık ile İlişkisi (Bir Sağlık Kurumu Örneği)

Özet
Amaç: Bu çalışma; hemşirelerin merhamet ve etik duyarlılık düzeylerini belirlemek, merhamet düzeyi ile etik duyarlılık arasında ilişkiyi tanımlamak amacı ile yapılmıştır. Yöntem: Tanımlayıcı ve ilişki arayıcı olarak planlanan bu çalışma Ocak 2021-Nisan 2021 tarihleri arasında İstanbul’da bir sağlık kuruluşunda gerçekleştirilmiştir. Çalışmanın evreni sağlık kuruluşunda hizmet veren hemşirelerden (N=130) oluşmaktadır. Örneklem seçimi yapılmadan gönüllü 122 hemşire (%94) çalışma kapsamına alınmıştır. Verilerin toplanmasında alan yazın ışığında hazırlanan yapılandırılmış soru formu, Merhamet Ölçeği (MÖ) ve Ahlaki Duyarlılık Anketi (ADA) kullanılmıştır. Bulgular: Çalışmanın bulgularına göre; hemşirelerin %39’unun 25-34 yaş grubunda olduğu, %46’sının mesleklerinde 120 ay ve üzeri çalıştığı ve %88.5’inin ise etik eğitim aldığı bulunmuştur. Hemşirelerin Merhamet Ölçeği puan ortalamasının 4.02±0.54 olduğu, Ahlaki Duyarlılık Anketi toplam puan ortalamasının ise 2.76±0.70 olduğu saptanmıştır. Ahlaki Duyarlılık Anketi toplam puanı ile Merhamet Ölçeği toplam puanı arasında negatif yönde istatistiksek olarak anlamlı ilişki saptanmıştır (r=-.31; p
Aim: This research was carried out to determine the level of compassion and ethical sensitivity in nurses and to define the relationship between them. Method: This descriptive and relationship-seeking study consisted of nurses (N=130) serving in health institutions. Without sample selection, 122 volunteer nurses (94%) were included in the study. A structured questionnaire consisting of prepared in the light of the literature, the Compassion Scale (CI) and Moral Sensitivity Questionnaire (MSQ) were used as data collection tools. Results: According to the findings of the study; It was found that 39% of the nurses were in the age group of 25-34, 46% of them worked 120 and more months in their profession and 88.5% of them received ethics training.
