    (Igi Global, 2017) Tosun, Nilgun
In the year 2016, flipped learning became an innovative learning approach. The students, in flipped learning, prepare to their courses watching the videos, listening to podcasts, and reading the articles prepared for themselves, and have a prior knowledge. For that reason, the students should be supported with stronger learning materials rather than the aforementioned materials. The most current one among these materials includes Augmented Reality implementations that have been prominent in recent years. In this chapter, flipped learning approach and augmented reality concept will be emphasized, augmented reality implementations possible to be used in flipped learning will be exemplified, and limitations will also be discussed.

The Design Of Renewable And Interactive E-Book Template For E-Learning Environments
(Online Journal Communication & Media Technologies-Ojcmt, 2012) Hatipoglu, Nuh; Tosun, Nilgun
In this study, it is aimed to minimize the labor and time spent during the updating of e-content and re-uploading them into learning management systems, which is one of the present e-learning problems. For this purpose, a new e-book template has been designed. Transferring content into e-book consists of two important steps. Firstly, the contents prepared in MS Word program are transformed into XML. Later, the contents transformed into XML are read by e-book template. EBONI design principles have been highly obeyed during the design of the template. Some of the EBONI design principles used in the e-book template are book cover, contents, short page contents, legible writing format, multimedia and interactive items that may activate users. Thanks to these, an e-learning environment that is visually rich, easy to understand and follow with flexible contents has been attempted to create.

Convenience sampling method was used and a group of 231 parents participated in the study. The Digital Parenting Attitude Scale has been used for data collection purposes, alongside a questionnaire form developed by the authors. In conclusion, it was understood that; (a) the digital parenting attitude scores of participants were found to be relatively low, with an average score of 21.74; (b) half of the participants were not willing to participate in a digital parenting educational program and that those unwilling to participate were also those who displayed poor digital parenting attitude; (c) not only gender and employment status, but also other variables such as awareness in concepts of digital footprints or cyberbullying result in significant differences in terms of digital parenting attitudes; (d) descriptive accounts of Turkish parents show that they are prone to conceptualizing digital parenting as screen time policies only; and (e) digital parenting educational programs should focus not only on the digital but also on (conventional) parenting skills and the notion of sustainability. Results emphasize the importance of increasing public awareness towards concepts related to digital parenting, as well as the economic exploitation of children in the cyber world and the establishment of dialogue with the child on this critical matter.
