Motor zekanın el hareketleri ile değerlendirilmesi

Abstract

Motor zeka, vücudun tamamını veya belli bir kısmını kullanarak mevcut motor problemi doğru ve hızlı bir biçimde çözebilme becerisi olarak tanımlanabilir. Gözlemlediğimiz üzere bu beceri her bir bireyde farklı seviyelerde bulunmaktadır. Ancak bunu bize objektif olarak gösteren literatür bilgisi bulunmamaktadır. Biz çalışmamızda motor zekayı değerlendirebilecek testler geliştirerek motor zekanın toplumda dağılımını objektif olarak göstermeyi amaçladık. Yaptığımız tez çalışması 18-25 yaş aralığında 16 erkek 29 kadın gönüllünün katılımı gerçekleştirildi. Çalışmamız iyi aydınlatılmış bir ortamda haftanın her Salı günü saat 09:0012:00 aralığında gerçekleştirildi.

Gönüllülere sırasıyla klavye hız testi, Grooved pegboard el beceri testi, Minnesota el beceri testi, bloklar ile yapı inşa testi ve bardak basket testleri uygulandı. Bütün testlerin uygulatılması ve süre tutma işlemi aynı araştırmacı tarafından yapıldı. Elde edilen sürelere standartlaştırma işlemi uygulanarak her bir bireyin uyguladığı bütün testler için skorlar elde edildi. Bütün testlerden elde edilen skorlar toplanarak total skor elde edildi. Skor verilerinin istatistiksel analizi için SPSS 20 programı kullanıldı. Testlerin dağılımını görüntülemede Shapiro-Wilk testi kullanılırken korelasyon analizi için Spearman Rho korelasyon analiz yöntemi kullanılmıştır. Çalışma sonucumuzun verileri değerlendirildiğinde klavye hız testinin, bloklar ile yapı inşa testinin ve bardak basket testinin iyi bir normal dağılım elde edemediğini görürken, Grooved pegboard el beceri testinin, Minnesota el beceri testinin ve total skorun normal

dağılım gösterdiğini gördük. Normal dağılım gösteren total skorla; klavye hız testinin zayıf korelasyon gösterdiğini ,bloklar ile yapı inşa testinin ve bardak basket testinin orta şiddetli korelasyon gösterdiğini, Grooved pegboard el beceri testinin ve Minnesota el beceri testinin yüksek şiddetli korelasyon gösterdiğini gördük. Motor zekanın değerlendirilmesi çalışmamız literatürde gördüğümüz kadarıyla bu konudaki ilk çalışmadır. Nasıl ki kişinin bilişsel seviyesine ve akademik yatkınlığını belirlemede IQ gibi tek bir skorlama yöntemi kullanılabiliyorsa, yapılan çalışmamız ilerletilerek motor zekayı ölçebilecek daha etkili testler bulunduğu takdirde bireylerin motor zekalarını belirleme de tek bir skorlama yöntemi kullanılabilir olacaktır.

Motor intelligence can be defined as the ability to solve the current motor problem accurately and quickly by using the whole or a certain part of the body. As we observed, this skill is exist at different levels in each individual. However, there is no literature information showing this objectively. In our study, we aimed to show the distribution of motor intelligence in society objectively by developing tests that can evaluate motor intelligence. The study was carried out with the participation of 16 male and 29 female volunteers between the ages of 18-25. Our study was carried out every Tuesday of the week between 09:00-12:00 in a well-lit environment. Keyboard speed test, Grooved pegboard test, Minnesota manual dexterity test, building with blocks test and cup basket tests were applied to the volunteers, respectively. All tests were applied and time-keeping was done by the same researcher. Scores were obtained for all tests performed by each individual by applying the standardization process to the obtained times. The total score was obtained by summing the scores obtained from all tests. SPSS 20 program was used for statistical analysis of score data. While Shapiro-Wilk test was used to display the distribution of tests, Spearman Rho correlation analysis method was used for correlation analysis. When the data of our study were evaluated, it was seen that the keyboard speed test, the building construction test with blocks and the cup basket test could not obtain a normal distribution, while the Grooved pegboard test, Minnesota manual dexterity test and the total

score were found to be normal. We saw that the distribution with the total score showing normal distribution; We found that the keyboard speed test showed a weak correlation, the blocks and structure building test and the cup basket test showed a moderate correlation, the Grooved pegboard dexterity test and the Minnesota dexterity test showed a high correlation. Our study on the assessment of motor intelligence is the first study on this subject as far as we have seen in the literature.. Just as a single scoring method such as IQ can be used to determine a person's cognitive level and academic predisposition, a single scoring method can be used to determine the motor intelligence of individuals if more effective tests that can measure motor intelligence are found.
