Cumhuriyet devri Türk resminde alevi-bektaşi ikonografisinin işlenişi
Özet
İnanç sistemlerinin ve sanatın birbirlerini etkileme ve şekillendirme
meselesi insanlık tarihinin en fazla kafa yorduğu konuların başında gelmektedir. Dini
The issue of belief systems and art influencing and shaping each other is the
most thought-over issue in human history. Whether the religious rituals had affected
artistic activities or art had created the figurative sequence necessary to fulfill the
religious duties has always been discussed and considered worthy of research. In this
study of ours, we made some explanations about the aforementioned subject. On the
basis of various states, with different examples, the issue of how cultural-artistic
activities and the religious perspective have affected each other was explained.
In this study, we tried to explain the historical process, rituals, and visual
culture of the Alevi-Bektashi belief system that was born, formed and spread in
Anatolia. We went beyond defining the belief system and tried to provide a
commentary on the cultural history of Anatolia, the religious context, the cultural and
artistic activities of the Ottomans.
Eventually, the fact that a belief system originally from the East transferred
through the technical elements and materials of the West came highly experimental
for us, so it was studied.
Our study starts with an introduction about the interaction of belief systems
and artistic production, our views on the visual identity and production of Anatolia,
and how monotheist religions shaped the artistic impulses. Subsequently, the
cultural-artistic accumulation created by the Ottoman State and the essence of artistic
activities along with its development throughout the following periods were
reviewed. The establishment of the republic and the artistic policy of this new regime
along with the status of art and artists in this period were examined, and the progress
and development of the Turkish painting to this day was highlighted. Ultimately,
information on our main subject, the terminological and historical content on the
Alevi-Bektashi belief system transferred and thus, the iconographic framework we've
wished to form and the concern of explaining the visual material led to the
emergence of this study.
