CROM (Cervical Range of Motion) ölçüm aletleri kullanılmıştır.
The posture can be defined as the position of the body parts relative to each other or
the proper arrangement of the musculoskeletal system to protect the body from damage. The
aim of this study was to determine the relationship between thoracic kyphosis and head
anthropometry on the thoracic vertebrae.
164 (86 male, 80 female) volunteers were included in our study. Anthropometric
measurements of the head and neck with the thoracic kyphosis angle of each volunteer
included in the study will be performed. The height of each volunteer, height of head, front,
side and back neck heights, neck width and neck circumference were taken as metric values.
In addition, inclinometric analysis of the neck movements (flexion, extension and lateral
flexion) of each volunteer included in our study. The anthropometer and CROM (Cervical
Range of Motion) measuring instruments were used in these measurements.
As a result, there is a relationship between head-neck anthropometry and thoracic
kyphosis and the measurement method we use in our study is a valid method.
