A different kind of performance acquired a dimension through Luigi Boccherini, who essentially tried out on the fourth position and higher points since from the 18th Century in the history of music, violoncello became an object of interest concerning how it could be played as it was in the playing violin. Then this performance tecnique was developed as a result of his interaction with his colleagues such as Jean Louis Duport and Bernhard Romberg, and through the teacher-student relationship, and reached the present day. At the end of the study, it was detected that the works written by these musicians for violoncello served as a great source in the medium of music related to the conditions of their period, but a number of them lost their importance until today. Therefore, this study was intended to serve as an instructive material for the violoncellists of the present age. Keywords: Violoncello, Cellist, Music, Instrument, Work
